On Saturday, October the 11th,I decided to take Princess Sugar Pie to the "Sevier CO-OP" in Sevierville to visit her many "Adoring Fans" who work and shop there. The CO-OP was having it's 60th Anniversary Customer Appreciation Day. While there, I decided to take a picture of Princess Sugar Pie posing on a children's "Ford Petal-Tractor". Once I got her comfortable, I decided to take her picture. Chris Villines, the corporate Photographer for the Tennessee Farmers Coop is planning on publishing picture(s) of Princess Sugar Pie's October visit in their monthly Newspaper which will be available in November. The Little Cowgirl gets a new hat!

When I took this picture of Princess Sugar Pie, she was wearing her "new" cowgirl hat that was given to me by Tom Yardley of Yardley Jewelry. Tom has a booth out at the Smoky Mountain Flea Market and he remembered buying this little straw hat while he was on a buying trip to Mexico. I couldn't believe that Tom would give me this hat, but he loves Princess Sugar Pie so much that he wanted her to have it. The hat looked rather plain and had some drawings on it that he and I didn't like, so I took it home and performed some magic on it. This is how it turned out. Princess Sugar Pie has become a mascot of the Smoky Mountain Flea Market and she usually goes there on Sundays to visit with her many adoring fans.

World's smallest Mardi Gras Reveler!

Princess Sugar Pie is also known as "Mobile Area's own Mardi Gras Cat! She was featured in the Mobile Press-Register on February 15th, 2007. It was the first article ever published about her in a major Newspaper. The article was titled "One Cool Cat" by Ron Colquitt. She had just visited the Westminister Village's Assisted Living section. It was fitting that Princess Sugar Pie was dressed up in her Mardi Gras Hat for that article. At the time, Mobile, Alabama was having their annual Mardi Gras Celebration. You see, Mobile is the birth place of Mardi Gras. In this picture, I decided to place some Mardi Gras beads around Princess Sugar Pie before taking it. This is one of my favorite pictures of Princess Sugar Pie. I decided to wrap her up in a blanket before taking this photo. Princess Sugar Pie is now known on Capital Hill in Washington D.C.for the contributions that she has made as a Famous Registered Therapy Cat! Princess Sugar Pie's contributions to the Healthcare Industry were brought before the Senate and House by Irene Taylor, Laison for Signature Healthcare Inc. Princess Sugar Pie regularly visits their Pigeon Forge facility and was featured on Knoxville's WBIR TV10's "Live at Five" news segment with LaSaundra Brown. Legislation should be passed very soon, better protecting and recognizing Therapy Animals legitimate use in the Healthcare Industry. I am so proud of Princess Sugar Pie's accomplishments.
